Amazon's Kindle

I've seen lots of blogs talking about the Kindle, but I've never seen one in person.  It actually didn't look that awkward or out of place.

Screw Starbucks or other hipster hangouts, KFC/A&W FTW.

Edit: Thanks for pointing it out, Chris!

Works in IE now. Certain themes are not handling images correctly.

When did you stop using IE?

I've been trying to get you to switch to FF for years. Was FF 3.0 just too sexy for you to resist?

On a side note, I was bored at work so I tried your website for the first time in a few months and found this good looking blog up, nice work. Your page isn't XHTML valid though. The doctype for peterf.net says its an XHTML 1.1 page, while the doctype for peterf.net/blog is for 1.0 transitional. Its not valid for either.

Sam,
the root of peterf.net just forwards to /blog. That is a valid page now. I forgot to selfclose the 2nd meta tag. Thanks for pointing that out.

As for the blog code, I'm working to correct the CSS so images display properly in all themes. Can't slip anything past you. But it seems that it may never be fully compliant. But at least the W3 validation image isn't on my page? :-p

As for IE, I had enough. Also, I'm a huge fan of AdBlock in FF. Perhaps I'll make an entry for my reasons after 2.0 is finalized tomorrow.
